Clean-S Treatment for metal surfaces
Clean-S processing is a surface treatment developed by Showa Denko K.K. in 1984 to improve corrosion and abrasion-resistance of metal surfaces. Extensive research over the years has improved the coating performance and many types of Clean-S are available today. Clean-S is widely used for parts and devices used in semiconductor manufacturing processes, and general industrial parts. Clean-S was originally developed aiming at adding corrosion-resistance on corrosive gases of general-use metal materials including SUS and aluminum. It also have other characteristics such as abrasion-resistance in parts of stirring machines.
